Our Privacy Philosophy

At Medloo, we believe that your health data is one of the most private aspects of your life. Our app is built on a foundation of Privacy by Design. We do not want your data, we do not track your behavior, and we do not sell your information to third parties. Period.

Data Storage & Ownership

Medloo uses Apple's SwiftData technology. This means:

• Local Storage: All your medication schedules, dose history, and inventory counts are stored directly on your iPhone.
• Private iCloud Sync: If you use multiple Apple devices, your data is synced through your private iCloud account. This data is encrypted and accessible only by you.
• No External Servers: We do not operate our own database servers. Your personal health information never touches our infrastructure because it doesn't exist.

Information We Do Not Collect

To be absolutely clear, we do not collect or have access to:

• The names of medications you take.
• Your dosage schedules or adherence rates.
• Your location or contact information.
• Any biometric data or health metrics.

Notifications

Medloo sends Local Notifications. These are scheduled and triggered entirely by your device's operating system. No notification data is sent across the internet to trigger these alerts.

Transparency & Security

By leveraging Apple's standard security frameworks, Medloo ensures that your data benefits from the same high-level encryption that protects your messages and photos. We encourage users to use strong device passcodes and FaceID/TouchID to secure their devices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. However, our core commitment to local storage and zero data collection will remain unchanged. Any updates will be posted on this page.
